Hiking in Nepal has been quite common amongst the youth. However, my story is relatively niche to others. Being a counseling psychologist for half a decade has been quite a roller coaster. In this roller coaster of helping others, I lost myself.
Realizing the disbalance in my energy, I tried multiple coping strategies. Sadly, I wasn't able to keep consistency. After numerous trials and errors, I ended up hiking.
This time it was different; I knew this was my long-term coping strategy. And while I am writing this blog about my first-ever hike to date, I have completed ten short and long trails in nine months and many more on the list.
Here are a few snaps and details on my first trail after I realized I needed something to balance my energy amid listening to people's problems.
